Dr. Shalva Weil is Senior Researcher at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and the founding Chairperson of the Israel-India Cultural Association, the official friendship association between the two countries. She has authored many books and articles on Jews in India and Indian Jewry including “India’s Jewish Heritage: Ritual, Art and Life-Cycle”.
